Creative Sprouts Sensory Club

Dear friends of Myla and Lyam,

Hello all! I hope you are all doing well. We wanted to share that we are organizing a toddler sensory class with a fantastic teacher, Diana, with whom Austina has been working on SMDT projects. And we thought, why not invite the twin’s friends as well? The more the merrier!

It will be a small, intimate group in our garden (or in our house if the weather doesn’t permit), with the theme of Energizing our creative sprouts.”

Key info:

  • Age: 1- 3 years old

  • 6 sessions total

  • June 18th to July 5 every Wednesday and Saturday, 3:30 pm (I know all of us have a crazy schedules. You can pick and choose the session that works for you)

  • Price: 35 CHF per session (material fee included)

  • Payment: Once you sign up for the class(es), Austina will issue the bill and coordinate with the teacher for the payment

  • Deadline to RSVP: We have limited space, so it would be helpful for us to figure out the logistics if you RSVP by June 7th. After that, please contact Austina directly to check availability to sign up.

  • Format:

    • With caregivers (parents, and grandparents, nannies are all welcome)

    • 1 hr Class (3:30 - 4:30)

    • Hangout time after the class with drinks and snacks (4:30 - 6:00)

  • Place: Kang-Wahl home

Exploring diverse movements through a circuit with fun movement and sensorial challenges to go through.

Playing with musical instruments, discovering sounds, singing songs and dancing.

Little frogs in the garden

July 2 (Wed), 3:30 pm

Exploring water with different tools, vessels, and having fun with bubbles.

Little creative gardeners  

July 5 (Sat), 3:30 pm

Planting seeds/seedlings, harvesting fruits/veggies and preparing food and/or drinks.

Meet Diana,

Diana’s journey as a teacher in early childhood education started twenty years ago in Brazil. Since then, she has navigated a diverse range of experiences, including teacher training, parental education, and the development of learning communities in diversified cultural settings.

Since 2015, she has dedicated her work to researching, designing, and facilitating learning experiences and projects inspired by Nature.

Diana has worked closely with Austina for the past 2 years on SMDT projects, designing the community’s core values, direction, and learning content as a core member of the company.
